The point is this, if you’re going to the effort of cooking a good meal and you start with a good product then your life is made so much easier. We are able to offer all manner of cuts and shop that supermarkets just don’t make available. They will nly sell you what they want to and not necessarily what you are looking for. |

| Where is it from? |

Beef |
| We cut only UK beef, a mix of Scottish and English cattle. We use just two suppliers, one in Scotland and another (for the English beef) located in nearby Essex. Our two suppliers ensure we get the quality we expect every day of the week. |

Beef is chosen predominately for its quality, but also its size. All cattle are under 24 months old. It is hung on the bone to enhance the flavour and tenderness. |

Lamb |
| We cut only English lamb from a local supplier. Lamb is handpicked for its shape and colour; this ensures that we get the best of the bunch. |

There is nothing finer than fresh English lamb during the summer months, try it and see. |

Pork |
| We cut only English pork, reared mainly in Norfolk and delivered to the door. Pork is handpicked so that we get that little finish of soft fat to the edge of the meat; this ensures a superior tenderness and flavour. |

Poultry |
| All poultry is English and comes from our suppliers Banhams in Norfolk. |

Christmas Poultry |
| Only the finest Free Range poultry makes it into our shop. Our birds are reared specially for us by two small farms, one for the turkeys and chickens, another for geese. |

| All duck supplied is English, Gressingham Breed. |
